Skid Plates available?
OK, so we got another dumping of snow in Colorado. Went out for a blast
up Baseline again past Flaggstaff, what a kick in the pants. One minor
irritation tho, snow seems to get itself packed all around my
driveshaft. As I'm having my fun in the snow (incedentally, anyone who
doens't have Blizzax REALLY need to get them,) the driveshaft sounds
(and feels) like it's trying to beat its way thru the floorboards. I'm
fairly sure that the 3 inch exhaust pipe isn't helping the situation
any, that's prolly what it's beating against. Anyhoo, any BTDT's on how
to keep snow from packing around the driveshaft? This has to be a
prollem when runnign Steamboat too. I'm contemplating simply tacking a
makeshift plate over the front crossmember to keep snow out of there,
but I dunno if that'll wind up overheating the cat (not sleeved or
hollowed, a genuine 3 inch cat.) Any pointers will be appreciated, even
tho it looks as if this may have been the last snow of the season...
