I might except you choice of words given the latest review, but.....
The buyer is the same, especially if you look at the autobox 540i and the back
seat room.  I find it somewhat amusing that the A8 back seat is a full 6 cubic
feet tighter than the 740 and the 400.  And yet has almost that to gain in the
trunk.   What no luggage comparo? :)

The A6 specifically doesn't compare to the 540, maybe a 528.  Hop in the A8,
and hop in the 540.  The similarities are there, and the feel is more similar,
IMO, that the A8 to 740.  The words cavernous apply to only the latter.

When you enter the big leagues you stretch a larger span of cars.  .  The guy
that can afford the A8 can afford the 540 AND another car.  Like a 91 200tq
for instance....  Few from either camp could fault the guy either, even
comparing the A8.
