air box on 88 80/90

I just got a catlog from Jamex, and they make a replacement air filter 
box for cars (VW's) with K-jettronic injrction. the box they show in the 
brochure looks exactly like the box I have in my 88 90 4cyl. The sales 
guy was unsure if it would fit, and advised me to ask someone who may 
know if it would fit because there is a 20% restocking fee. Right now my 
car has trouble getting out of its own way sometimes, and any additional 
power would be great.
