But there must have been _some_ publicity about that event, otherwise
you wouldn't have known about it. Ergo - if a similar exposure
existed with the Torsen you would also know about it, even with similar
inaction on the part of the manufacturer.
And US pickup trucks are only sold within the USA. The Torsen-equipped
Audi was sold all over the world - not a word from the Consumer's
Association, or Stiftung Warentest, or anywhere else.
Do a web search on "pickup" and "fuel tank" - BINGO!
Do one on "Torsen" and what? NOTHING!
(Apart from them being used in Miatas, etc.)
