great balls of fire

Well, not quite, but close.
Today, driving around town, I notice that when I come to a stop, there's
this light, wispy cloud of smoke that blows by me...that's weird...guess
the 'ol beast is burning some oil, great...hmm...wait...that doesn't smell
like any burning oil...
I arrive at destination only to get out and find disc, hub and caliper
smokin like a tobacco exec.
I ran around until I found a cup, filled it with water and doused the
smoke, only to get huge clouds of steam(wonderful.) Fortunately, it
doesn't seem to be warped, which is good, but the parking brake seems to be
at fault(again)...this won't be the first time that the parking brake
actuator lever has stuck...

After pulling the wheel off the car, I now see I have something very
special..a two-tone rotor :( (outside is blue-ish, inside is rust color.)

Time for a new/used caliper and another $200...<sigh>
