If you are talking about the idiot light, I know the handbrake
will set that on. Offhand, I can't think what else, but I feel that
unequal pressure between the two dual brake circuits may trigger
this as well. This means one circuit has a bad leak...

Well, actually the bad bomb will set off the handbrake idiot light.
Alternatively, the central computer "brake" warning comes on only when
the front pads are worn beyond the limit.
