I find this an interesting observation since one of the reasons I have 17"
wheels on my 200q is that I *want* it to look "short and pudgy" ... well,
maybe not pudgy exactly, but visually, the larger wheels/tires tend to make
it look much more proportional. Otherwise, I think it looks too long and
tubular ... YMMV, of course.

It's funny: As I get older and have more resources (read money) available to
play around with cars, I find I'm less interested in doing so, at least in
some ways. I do enjoy doing minor stuff -- revamping the suspension,
installing a bigger engine when rebuilding the old one, etc. -- but tackling
something like a twin-turbo setup at home isn't something I'm likely to
undertake these days. I'd rather buy a 1.8L turbo, play around with the
boost and/or someday install a 2.2L shortblock underneath it than tackle
something like putting twin turbos on the V6. In fact, I'm starting to have
second thoughts about doing the LT-1 conversion that I've been secretly
planning as well...
