Re: Trans failure? Need help!!
I think so, Steve. I've not messed with an autobox sine I bought the car
that Joe Namath won ('69 Dodge Charger with 440 cu. in.) as MVP in Super
Bowl III. (Honest, I bought that car in 1970.) But... There has to be
some sort of linkage between your gear shift lever and the tranny. I'd put
money (perhaps not a lot) on you finding one or more excessively loose
joints in the linkage somewhere.
