The plot thickens [Was:Re: non-uniform tire wear]
You know, it's interesting that you mentioned the type of tires--I've
got the same brand/size tires, and my car was pulling a bit to the
right. I took it to the Goodyear place to have it re-aligned, and they
told me that the car was in line but both of the right side tires were
worn more than the left side tires.
The car is a '93 90CS, no quattro.
I just had them switch the front right and front left tires, and now the
car pulls to the left instead. I'm just going to live with it and get
some new tires (not Goodyears).
Not sure of the tire-rotation procedure on the quattro.
Maybe someone else has some hints? I'm stumped.
