SCCA solo II classifications (&A4 2 cents)

So how did all the Audis make it into either HS or GS (including A8),
except for my poor overgeared, overweight, understeered, and underbraked
V8, which is in FS.

see how it will do against V8 Camaros and Mustangs.  (Not really.)

Guess I'll stick with the 4kq (HS).

As to the A4 V6 vs. 1.8t, I understand the 1.8 is geared lower to make
up for less power, which might make it the better choice for autocross,
except I also understand that it is actually slower (0-60), which would
make it a worse choice.  I haven't driven both, so I don't know.  If the
lower gearing is also true of the upcoming 99 model 1.8t with 180 hp,
then wait for it, if you can.  Get the sport suspension regardless.
