WTB K24

different opinions about this kind of swap so I am interested in some
input.  What else is necessary for the swap? exhaust manifold, oil and

     I'm installing a '91 K24 into my '87 5K.  Here's what I've found so far
-- the inlets/outlets for oil and exhaust are the same between the two turbos.
The water lines are different.  So, you will also need to obtain these with
the turbo.  (Or you'll have to do as I did and call Linda at Carlsen and send
her SEVERAL bucks.  But she's great to deal with, so it won't be too
painful....)  The same exhaust manifold can be used for the K24.
     It's a relatively straight-forward substitution physically, after that I
don't know yet.  Waiting on parts to arrive, they should be in Friday
afternoon.
