Sounds like I've found the place for my strut bar. Now I just have to
convince myself I really need it right now.

On another note, has anyone replaced their sway bar bushing with urethane
ones? I was looking at the J.C. Whitney catalog, and they have ProThane
bushings for like $9. I notice Neuspeed (APS) carries ProThane, so it's
prolly not junk. Sway bar bushings are pretty universal, so they should
work fine. Does anyone know what size to get?

I'm kinda trying to diagnose a loose, popping sound in my front end. It
pretty much only occurs going over a speed bump. I thought something was
loose (it's all pretty new, except for the sway bar bushings, which are
junk), but I jacked it up and everything was tight. I'm thinking it is
the sway bar bushings.

They also have bushings for where the sway bar mounts to the
subframe/chassis. I'm thinking this is gonna be a good thing to get, and
for cheap no less.

So, what's the list experience with replacing these bushings? I'm
starting to get (what's a word less giddy than?) excited about this "mod".
I think it'll round out my front suspension well. Then maybe new
subframe bushings (and bolts I guess, according to Bentley). Then, after
my front end is a solid as... oh, yeah it's a family list, is just plain
solid, maybe I can get new rears shocks too. :-)

That's the reason for the strut brace interest, I want my car to be solid.
I want to be able to jack up one corner into the sky and still open my
door without binding. I'm prolly dreaming.

I'm gonna go to a race shop today maybe and look at their bushing
selection.

(I forgot to get the other parts I need (clevis pin and lock nut) to
replace my brake booster from the dealer, and I'm sure they're not in
stock, so I have to concentrate on something else this weekend.)

Later,

(Concentrating on petty little enhancements, when I really wanna gut the
thing and put a little forced induction into it. Oh well, as long as I do
_something_.)
