I did it, two weekends ago. I've got the ABT springs, you couldn't do it
with stock ones. I should have included that tidbit!
I had no problem doing everything I wrote. It was tight, but I didn't
even take the wheels off! There's enough space between the coils to get
in there, and the springs are short enough (uncut) to pull the top
hardware off.
With stock springs, you're gonna have to pull the whole darn thing apart.
