200 mysteries(radio display and dash lighting)

Ok, two mysteries for me!

#1:Just saw a 1991 200tq with a slightly different bose unit than what I've
seen before.  Display was very thin and wide, centered in the middle of the
unit(UI thought it was a CD slot at first glance.)  Here's the kicker...it
displays radio station info in the auto-check area!  High budget! What
does...Survey Say?  Do lots of people have this?  Just talked with Rob
Winchell who bought an S4 radio, and said he thinks I have the same kind.

#2:Where is thr dimm/brighten control for the #$@#^&! dash lights?  I
couldn't find the control to save my life.  One problem I don't have with
my 5000!  Also, is there also a way to trigger a display test(like on the
5k?  I guess the bulb-projector system needed that, but the LED display
doesn't?)
