Remind me of a question I've been meaning to find an answer to. 
Someone, somewhere, started a little rumor in my alleged mind that one
can find almost any bearing one wants - ie to put the wrong wheel hub
into a strut housing you need a weird bearing... any ideas?

Specifically, cramming an early 5kt hub into an 82 coupe housing.

All opinions, advice, btdt's, suggestions (other parts that will work)
are of course invited and welcome.
