Porsche brakes vs Brembos.

I am unsure of something. There has been much talk of Big Red brakes and 
those on The 911 seem to come to mind. The ones on the 911's are made by 
Brembo but to Porsche specs. Would you think that maybe Porsche specs 
are better than regular Brembo specs? Would a Brembo designed for a 
Porsche from the factory be better than a Brembo system bought for an 
Audi as an aftermarket kit? Any suggestions?
