MAC-10 info

<< Anybody ever heard of a MAC-10? The upgrade chip I believe is for MAC-11.
>

The Ingram MAC-10 was a 9mm or 45 ACP handgun available in either semi- or
full automatic version. The -10 fired from an open bolt, the 10A1 used a
closed bolt system. 16 shot and 32 shot magazines were available for both
cartridge types.

The MAC-11 was the 380 ACP version.

Cyclic rates for these guns was high, which made a distinctive "buzz" when
they were fired. You've all probably heard the sound effects in the movies.
Of course, with a 16 or 32 round magazine it was impossible to maintain the
prolonged firing that the films always portrayed. But, hey, that's what films
are for. Fiction.

Most of these were built in Georgia. The manufacturing company changed a time
or two between 1982 and 1986. Company names for these and similar products
were Ingram, Military Armament Command, and SWD. There were probably others.
After 1986 the manufacture of these handguns was stopped due to executive
order by then-President George Bush.

Not sure that modifying any of the MACs is going to be much help in making
your Audi go faster.
