Partial Throttle pinging

Some months ago, I posted a problem with my 91 100 not pulling well at half
throttle and pinging. The car has a steady diet of Premium gas, and new plugs
cap and rotor etc etc were of no avail. Codes could not be retrieved by myself
or the Audi specialist that replaced the timing belt. The Audi God's smiled on
me this week and the problem is solved. It was the TEMP SENDER CONNECTION! The
sender started leaking, and upon removal, I noticed two of the four wires were
broken up in the connector body. It has probably been this way for a very long
time. The car runs great. I was about ready to sell it. 
When and where are the "Convoys" arriving in July? Would like to rendvous with
same.
