Junk Email

I recently joined the Quattro list and almost immediately
began receiving junk email after being completely free of
it for over a year.  Coincidence?  Is anybody else receiving
spam related to used car sales and junk email software?  Is
anybody else annoyed about it? I received
something this morning from autolist@emcst.com and I have
seen several messages on the quattro list that seem to be
plugging junk email software.  I am resentful that somebody
has seen fit to grab my email address off the quattro list.
I believe that legislation prohibiting unwanted spam was
passed recently.  Maybe it's time to test it.
