Phil:

Don't know if you got my last message due to problems with our server.
I had asked, for the last time, I promised, for the #'s for The Parts
Dept and your other parts source. I need to get a dash brain module for
the '85 ur-q just purchased.

Now, it also occurs to me, you mentioned in one of your past posts that
the '85 was actually the more common beast in the UK, as opposed to the
'83, as over in the USA. The questions to pose, then, are..what is the
possibility of acquiring a used module for cheap(er) and are the modules
problematic enough to warrant getting a new one? Any advice on that
from you and the UK "branch" would be most appreciated.

Remember, this is the second one-off car I communicated with you about
before: a left hand drive British car, or a German car with a British
talking dash, federalized and with California pink-slip (registration);
VIN # WAUZZZ85ZFA901331.

By the way, my wife informs me that I will be selling my '83, so I'll be
posting something on that shortly.

Now, if I can just find another S4 or S6 that I'd like for a price I can
live with.....

Thanks for your help,

Steve
