K&N in

With all this talk about K&N and air boxes, I replaced mine with a K&N
today. I was able to slide it in by removing the headlight (88 90q) and
sliding the box out the front. I cannot believe that this was the best
way, but nothing else seemed to work. The old paper filter was black as
night. It tore in two where oil (from where?) had soaked the paper. The
car responds amazingly now. I do not know however, if it is because the
K&N is a better product, or simply the old filter was just so nasty.
