VW dealer saying that they were parts for a
Quantum Syncro.  I found that there was
quite a bit of variation between the sources for some reason.

The VW dealer had the highest
price for the valve and the seal, but the lowest price for one of the hoses!
I guess that Audi & VW price based on how often they are used ...

My qsw is now emulating Steve B's symptoms, although the leak is beginning to increase & I'm now starting to see occasional trickles on the floor, although only randomly.  Of course I pulled the radiator (w/o the a/c non-disconnect method unfortunately) only a month ago, so it figures that I'd get another little challenge in due time.  But the passenger seat seems to enjoy having a little weight on it, in the form of a gallon of H20 and coolant.
