ECC is evil, no "recirculation" mode...

Hi,

I'm sure this is an old subject but I just found that
the ECC in my 90 90 doesn't "recirculate" the cabin's
air, even w/ the A/C running.  I've verified this w/
the owner's manual; it states that to keep pollution/
dust/exhaust fumes/... from entering the cabin, turn
the ECC to OFF!!!  What to do during hot summer days in
LA/Orange County traffic???

The worse part is that the manual climate control has
a "recirculation" button...

Also, as I was walking thru the parking lot today, I stopped
by a 100 and noticed that it had the same ECC system
so this must be a widespread problem...

90 90 - ISO a steering wheel airbag, I think the 100/200 has
the same steering wheel/airbag
