87 octane in a 4kq? (was: Techron, CIS ill on '87 4kq)

Ah.

One more question.  You can run 87 octane in your 4k with good results?
I thought you _had_ to run super/supreme/premium/92+ octane in these 
things.

I don't even know if I've ever tried running anything less than 92 octane, 
but I seem to remember that if I (or someone) did, it would not run good.  
Maybe it's in the owner's manual or something, I got it from somewhere.

I wouldn't mind running cheaper good gas during the week for my commute if 
I could.  Can I?
