Wrongo. I run 87 _all_ the time. I also run at stock timing. This topic
has been well-done in the past. Check the archives to see why more
(octane) is not always better. That is, find out why using 92 in _your_
(and my) car reduces Hp. Also check the owner's manual.

My car ran about 20k miles with me at the wheel and Mobil (really, this
time ;-) 87 in the tank. By the way, M87 has a _good_ additive package!
I had the manifold off once and it was EASY to see where the injector
spray went.
