q: A4 Service Interval

Yesterday I took my 97 A4 1.8t in for a "between service" oil change. 

Here is my service history:

miles - Service Performed
--------------------------
7450 - Oil Change (free)
11600 - Oil Change (I paid for it)
14200 - Scheduled Maintenance (free)
18680 - Oil Change

This last one (at 18680) is the one in question.  The Audi service representative
called me to tell me the car was finished, and I ask, How much?

This is my question.  He told me that the Turbo Engine models of the A4 get service
every 5000 miles.  This is not what I was told when I took delivery.  I was told
that I would get an oil change every 7500 miles and every 15000 miles I would have
scheduled maintenance.  They are now telling me it is oil - 5k; maintenance - 10k.


Has anyone had an Audi service rep. tell them the same thing?
