Well, my car is nearly back together, after a month of downtime. 
Sorry for the waste of BW, but I wanted to thank a few members of this
list (to which I am not currently subscribed) for their help!  Thanks
to Steve E for loans of tools & time, Dave L. for letting me trash his
garage when he wasn't even home, Carl J. for helping me trash Dave's
garage, Scott J. for providing technical assistance, and to Ben H. for
helping with parts, tools, and a HUGE chunk of his time, without which
I'd still be trying to cut thru my rear brake line.  :-)  C-YA at
