QLCC's, Brakes, Shocks

Hi List,
I just installed my QLCC chip and spring.  Holy cow, car runs like a
raped ape (is that PG?  :-)  ).  E-Mail me if you want info on the chip,
it is WORTH it.  This car literally hauls...  All you done been chipped
guys are probably laughing at me, but hey I put it in yestreday, and I'm
still in shock.

Of course, now that the car is fast, I realize the brakes suck.  My
mechanic says I got the small rotors/calipers/shoes, pre 12/85.  I'm
thinking of upgrading to the '87 rotors/calipers/shoes.  Get 'um at pick
your part, whole taco prolly less than $75.  Anybody got an opinion?
Old one or something else??

Last but not least, I need rear shocks for an 87 5kqw.  I don't want to
lower the car.  Got a quote for stock sachs, $100 ea (gulp!!).  What
about Bilsteins?  Any suggestions for a cheaper solution?  Where is the
best place to get 'um?
Please help.
