Removal of AC condecsor/evaporator

If anyone could help me I would be much obliged. I am in the process of
moving my battery to the trunk in my 84' 4kq.  I have also removed most of
the AC system in preparation for a turbo conversion (didn't work anyways
so I dont miss it....come to think of it, even if it did work, there isn't
much to miss :)   Anyhow, I cant get the dang thing out from under the
dash.  I have the Glove Box off, and drip tray off.  Looks like there are
4 bolts holding it up to the top of the car right under the Heater/Fan
unit.  I undid 2 bolts that were accessable by removing the little screen
over the air intake on the Pass side (you know, under that
worthless/flimsy/ cracked plastic thingy that hides everything from view
when the ingine is up)  Anyhow, that seems to of released the one side,
but I cant get to the other side.  DO I have to remove the whole
heater/fan unit.  It is glued/silly puttied to the body and I really dont
want to have to re do it but fear I will have to rip it up and re atach
later.  
	ANy tips from those that have done this would help greatly.
