BRAKE!

gutten tag,
                    here's another little nuisance with my 5kcst 5
speed.  EVERYtime i start the car, the red triangular BRAKE warning
light comes on in the systems check display, and then goes out after 2-3
minutes.  i can also provoke it to go on just by repeated stepping on
the brake pedal many times.  the fluid level in the brake/power steering
reservoir is fine.  but the car does steer a little heavy and the action
of the brake pedal is definitely NOT soft.  any ideas?  bitte,
