Hello,
Well, I have some strange readings on my trip computer too. Mine is on 
a 90 200QW, and I believe is having "bad instrument cluster"
problems. There are many cases reported of cracks in traces or joints
on these panels. My problems seem to come and go depending on
temperature and humidity. I have seen this kind of behavior before
caused by bad connections of some sort and I plan on pulling mine out
soon to check it.
