I think your OXS is working fine. You didn't see wacky readings on your
tests because you didn't make it too rich (propane) or too lean (vac
leak) for the computer to compensate. Had you done that, I suppose the
(working) OXS would have pegged it's output to one end of the cycle or
the other, ie too rich or too lean for the system to bring it back into
range.
