Chrysler sold Lambo to the Asians a few years ago. I hear that VW is now interested in purchasing Lambo at a 'reduced price' since the asian economies are in such serious trouble and asian companies need $$$$ so desperately.

Please clarify this one for me those of you in-the-know...

It was my understanding that Chrysler actually owns Lamborghini?  When did this change?

If my statement is correct, seems to me Daimler Chrysler may not want to see VAG and Lambo getting into talks anytime soon (yes...sarcasm should be apparent)
