5kcstq Timing Belt Woes

The only safe way to 'recover' from this situation safely is to remove
the camshaft.

Then the engine is turned to TDC as indicated by the flywheel mark.

The distributor is put into place with its marks lined up.

The camshaft is refitted ensuring that the lobes on #1 are pointing
upwards.  When the cam pulley is refitted, only a small movement
of the cam will be necessary to line up the cam belt cover mark.

Then check the distributor again.
