A4 mileage

FWIW, my A4 just turned 5000 miles. Mileage (records checked at each fill)
range from 22 to 28 mpg. Usually I am about 50/50 city/highway. Low mileage
was new and mostly stop and go city, high was a under 70 mph jaunt through
Vermont. Typical Interstate mileage (steady 75 mph) is 27 mpg. The car is a
Quattro sport (Dunlop SP8000E), manual trans and just got its first dose of
Mobil 1, which should squeeze a bit more mileage out of it.
