Trunk shocks for 4kq

I bought a pair of trunk shocks from German Parts and Restoration. I don't
have their number handy but they advertise in EC and are on the Quattro List
vendor page. Don't recall exactly what I paid, but I vaguely recall they
were something like $26/each.

FWIW, the only way I could figure out how to put them on was to remove the
rear seat back. Once I did that I could access the post that they clamp onto
from inside the car. Of course getting the seat back out is no small
feat....let me know if you need help with that.
