No Melange Interiors for 98

After just checking with my local Audi dealer about the status of an A6 on
order, I was told that Audi is having problems providing the Melange
interior.  This is apparently 10 day old news.  Anyone else heard this or
know anything about it?  The dealer was not able to project when the
situation would be resolved but said it is holding up all orders with
Melange interiors.  He implied that it may take a long time to resolve.
