Great!

Well nothing's changed! But you will find that there's plenty of talk
about '85 4k's!

$12.9k is a reasonable price if it's in very good condition. $15.9k is
too high.

-Back driver's side window motor--what's wrong with it? Doesn't sound
like something that should be broken just yet.
-Install engine kill device--the '93 90CS has an alarm with (I believe)
an ignition kill. Doesn't your car have remote locks? If so, I guess
there's an easy way to tell--roll down driver's window, stand outside
car (with door closed) and lock to arm the alarm, wait 30 seconds or so,
unlock and open the driver's door from the inside. Now the alarm will
(should) sound. It's *loud*, I hope you have understanding (or at least
trusting) neighbors. Try to start the car, I don't think it will.

Never heard of this one--automatic transmission or manual? If manual
transmission, does the sound come while you actually shift or after
you've moved the shifter and are letting the clutch out?

hmmmm....I don't think this is an option on mine. It is an option on
later cars, definitely on the A4, but I'm not sure about the 90. Are
you sure your owner's manual is the right one for your car?

The fixture is missing?! This shouldn't be too hard to get from your
dealer.

Congrats on the purchase! You've got a great car.
BTW, there should be a little card in the back of the warranty booklet
or maintenance booklet that you can send to Audi for change of
ownership--do this, there is a recent recall relating to the catalytic
converter, and sending in the card will let Audi know who to send the
recalls to.
