Right, the pedal goes hard with no assist.

Brakes are still strong as hell...but yes, I fully realize that it needs to
get done ASAP, which is why I'm making an appointment tuesday(first
business day!) morning.

I am kinda pissed that I didn't notice it before(aka, before I bought it),
but I think I may be able to get A.E. Park Audi, because they did a
"safety"/"pre-purchase" inspection, and declared the car perfect.  Not
exactly my definition.
