4000rpm hesitation

I received several responses to check the intercooler hose. Sure enough,
there was a small crack in it and visible oil seepage so it has been going
bad.  Dealer has a hose on order, list price is almost 90.00, discount
price about 68.00.  I just tried a shoe goo product on the hose rib
with the crack area and also the two other ribs and will test it tomorrow.
Nothing to lose!  Has anyone tried this as a short term or long term
solution?  Any lucK?

  I noticed rubber hose going to the turbo. It seemed ok.
Does it also go bad about the same time as the intercooler hose.  I have
164k miles on the 87 5000 tq and plan on keeping it for awhile longer.
Interested to hear from anyone who had to replace the turbo hose, mileage
or age, and any aftermarket source of parts.
