Yes, changed the lights out of my 89 100Q to an older set of quads from an
84-85 5k.  The lighting with off-the-shelf lights from Autozone make a
dramatic improvement.  I later went with a set of H1 high and H4 low/high
lights from Hella(still quad BTW) and they rival the Euro's in my bro's
car.  The relays really are not needed with the Autozone lights but ARE
needed if you run the Hella's (MANDITORY if you play with the wattages). 
As far a wiring. . .small change with Autozone, and you really need to jump
up in guage for the Hella's.
