Thank you a thousand times. I suspected that it wasn't as difficult
or as expensive as it is rumored to be. I already have the R-134A,
connectors, hose, and oil. I just need the time and I'm set. Truth is,
even if there is a little leak, it's no big deal if it lasts a few
months.
The R-134A is cheap enough that a top off is only a few bucks and
it's more environmentally responsible than R-12.
I really do question the validity of the R-12 release problem. They
aren't
destroying the stuff are they? Isn't it all eventually going to get out
anyway?
