Re: 98 Passat Wagon - Helicopter mode
There was some talk a while back about the air outlets to allow
flow through ventilation of the passenger compartment. If
the flaps are stuck or the outlets in the trunk are plugged, it could
definitely cause this problem which could explain why some
type 44 owners have reported the buffetting while others of
us, in many years of driving many different type 44s have
never experienced it. Check those flaps.
