Needed: Bose head unit for '90 200

<sigh>

Not that I love this unit, but I need to replace the existing Bose head
unit in my Audi with another one...mine's gone to meet its maker (unit has
power, but doesn't display anything...seems like a connection gone bad in
the control. If I play with the volume control long enough, it *sometimes*
comes on...)

So anyway, if anyone has a working Bose head unit lying around they want to
sell...let me know. I sure would rather replace the thing with a good
Alpine unit, but I expect that there's a fair amount of work involved in
integrating an aftermarket head unit with the Bose power amp...

...or is it as simple as a couple of DIN connectors? If so, I could be
persuaded... :)

Actually, I *would* rather keep the car stock. It's my wife's daily driver,
and she is not an audiophile (or even audiphile)...and at some point in the
not too distant future we expect to trade up...and I think the stock unit
will be more useful in a selling situation :)
