SC Horizon, misc grumping

Found the owner of SC Horizon - Unka Bart - alas, the person who was
interested in it didn't have any money . . . phooey, but thanks for the
support!

Many years ago I was involved with the Sebring Electric automobile - boxy
little street legal golf cart, assembled in Sebring, FL, and promptly
trashed by Consumers Union - 1975, I think.

Turned out they couldn't pass inspection in Florida - no tail pipe! "But it
doesn't need a tail pipe - it's an ELECTRIC car!" Answer: "No tailpipe, no
pass inspection. Sez here tailpipe required on all automobiles in Florida."
For a while, they just added a dummy piece of tubing "See, here's the
tailpipe!", and finally got an exemption.

I am eternally grateful we do not get all the government we pay for.

Best Regards,
