Re: '88 Urquattro in my garage...
Jouko,
You won't regret it! I have had my 88 Urq for 4 weeks now, and drive it
every day to work. Somenights I just have to take the long route home, warm
the oil well, and clear the cobwebs. Only downside so far, some B888888 has
stolen on BBS centre, and tried to prise off another... apart from that,
well worth the wait. Its 10 years since my first coupe, then 87 & 89 quattro
coupes, before a break before buying this.
Happy motoring

jouko,
congrats!
what with the various recent threads on ur-q values, brakes, tor$ens, and
trading in ur-q's for more modern 's' cars, one thing tends to get lost...
if you can get an ur-quattro, preferably a mb/rr torsen one, then, every
week,
take it to your favourite 'b' road, and it will still reward you with a
wonderful drive, and make anything audi has done since (in the sheer driving
pleasure department), look pretty thin. wonderful cars...
