Exhaust for 83 Gt

I have an exhaust manifold leak on my 83GT  and  I was curious to find
out if I could exchange the exhaust manifold on my car for  an exhaust
off an 84 4000 quattro. WilI I  gain much of a horsepower increase, is it
a difficult mod, and is it worth it? any info would be helpful. thanks
