Re: '86 5KQt purchase + questions??



Fellow Audi fanatic,
    Your car is from Canada.  I have a 1987 5000 CD Quattro, and from what I
have seen, it is the same as the 5000 CS models in the States (except for
the guages) and it is a turbo MC engine.  I'd watch out for rear suspension
items such as rear upper control arms, bushings, also steering rack,
hydraulic accumulator(bomb), pump, AC(if you must have it), radiator, turbo
cooling pump, all coolant hoses, and all other usual Audi stuff.  If you can
get that car for around $1000 dollars, I feel that it is a good deal and if
I could, I would get it and bring it back to Canada.
