How much space is there between the threaded sleeve and the strut housing?
Are we talking a big gap or just a mm or 2?  My only concern about the 2B
kit is that it may use the tape to make up a significant gap.  Didn't have
any measurement tools handy; maybe someone who put installed their kit
could recount this info...
