If you could find Boge turbo gas for the rear, go for it.  I have the koni
reds on the rear of my '87 5ktqw and have had Boge turbo gas on the front
of a similar wagon.  The handling is ok.  Probably a little harsh on rough
roads for some.  The konis are set 2/3 hard and I am using Jamex springs
with a spacer to limit the lowering of the car to 3/4".

If you find Boge turbo gas shocks for the rear of the 5ktq, please get me
the part numbers, cost, etc.  TIA.
